Infiyas Mohamed Anis Marikkar has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and industries. Infiyas started their career at Tech Lanka Computer Services in 1999, working as a Programmer for two years. After that, they became a Web Administrator & Team Leader responsible for creating user accounts, troubleshooting websites, and leading a team.
In 2003, Marikkar joined TenaMax International Inc. as a Technical Support Engineer & Team Leader. Here, they created customer accounts, troubleshooted customer sites, and registered domain names.
In 2004, Marikkar moved to Tesco International Sourcing, where they worked as a Stock Controller & Data Analyst. Their responsibilities included performing monthly stock takes, reconciling stock, analyzing waste, and managing stock orders and deliveries.
In 2006, Marikkar joined eBuilder as an Application Support Engineer & Team Leader. In this role, they coordinated and supervised the support, incident, and problem management process. Infiyas also ensured operational activities were carried out according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Throughout their time at eBuilder, Marikkar held various positions, including Senior Application Support Engineer & Team Leader, Service Controller/Manager Support Organization, IT Service Manager/Customer Program Management, and Senior IT Service Manager/Program Manager. In these roles, they performed a range of responsibilities, including project and program management, service delivery, business relationship management, and account management and sales.
Marikkar's extensive work experience demonstrates their proficiency in IT service management, program management, and team leadership. Infiyas has developed strong skills in coordinating projects, managing customer relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Infiyas Mohamed Anis Marikkar completed their education at various institutions. Infiyas obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Computing and Information System from London Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Infiyas then pursued further education and obtained a Masters in Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from Cardiff Metropolitan University, studying from 2011 to 2013.
In addition to their formal education, Infiyas has acquired various certifications. These include a Scrum Master certification from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2020, and a Mastering Common Interview Questions certification also from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2020. In February 2020, they acquired certifications in Balancing Multiple Roles as a Leader and Being Positive at Work, both from LinkedIn. In the same month, they also completed a certification in Technology for Product Managers from LinkedIn. In November 2016, Infiyas obtained a License to Sell certification from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing-SLIM. Infiyas also holds certifications in Key Account Management for Competitiveness from the same institute, obtained in September 2015; ITIL® Foundation 2011 (V3) from EXIN, obtained in December 2013; Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2011; and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in September 2018.
