Matt Hall is a Senior Scientific Officer at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since December 2018, focusing on the EMBL-EBI's Industry Programme within the Industry Partnerships team. Prior to this, extensive experience at GSK included roles such as Clinical Research Director for the Global Health Catalyst and Africa NCD Open Lab, along with leadership positions in Computational Biology and Systems Bioinformatics. Contributions at GSK involved managing teams, supporting drug discovery pipelines, and directing bioinformatics efforts. Additional experience includes volunteer work with the OGRA Foundation in Kisumu, and a foundational role at Parke-Davis as Group Leader in Neuroscience Research. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biology and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
