Luca Fumis is an experienced frontend developer with a strong background in web technologies and application development. Currently employed at EMBL-EBI since November 2014, Luca has played a key role in the development of the Open Targets Platform, contributing to both the Angular and React versions of the platform in collaboration with the UX team. Prior to this, Luca worked at Yahoo! from January 2009 to December 2013, where significant contributions included developing ad product frameworks and implementing advertising campaigns for European homepages. Additional experience includes positions as a Flash Developer, Java Developer, and Software Developer across various companies, with a strong foundation in web standards and technologies. Luca holds a BSc in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London.
