Ling C. is a Senior Optical Engineer at Eaton - Lighting since August 2017, specializing in optical design and new LED product development, with ongoing patents in area lighting, Metalux, and Halo. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from January 2012 to January 2017, where Ling C. conducted performance analysis of daylight responsive photocontrol systems and developed daylight simulation software. As a Research Assistant at Fudan University from September 2009 to June 2011, Ling C. focused on dimming Ceramic Metal Halide Lamps, and as an LED intern at GE in 2010, involvement included photometry application simulation. Ling C. holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University.
