Nicolas Sassis is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Avionic Systems & Tech Library Team Leader at easyJet since June 2009, Nicolas leads a team focused on maintaining departmental KPIs within the Fleet Technical Management Department. Previous roles include Fleet Engineer, responsible for the airworthiness of the A319/A320 fleet under EASA regulations, and Fleet Engineer for various aircraft at SRTechnics. Nicolas began the career as an Aircraft Mechanic and progressed to Inspector Supervisor at FLS Aerospace, overseeing B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Aircraft Maintenance from Kingston University and an HND in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of the West of England, among other certifications in the field.
