Whitney Smith is an experienced clinical pharmacy professional currently serving as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager and formerly as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Eastside Medical Center since July 2015, with a focus on NICU/Women’s Services and Progressive Care Unit. Prior to this role, Whitney completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Columbus Regional Health from June 2014 to June 2015 and gained extensive experience as a Pharmacy Intern at UHS-Pruitt Corporation from January 2007 to May 2014. Whitney's early career began as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Snell's Pharmacy from August 2005 to August 2006. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Mercer University (2010-2014), focusing on the Advanced Clinical Track, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Pre-Pharmacy emphasis from Valdosta State University (2006-2010).
