John Matthews has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John is currently the VP of Strategy and Commercial Excellence at Eastman Chemicals, where they lead a team of professionals in supporting the executive team and board on enterprise strategy issues. Prior to this, John founded Tower Three Consulting LLC and held the role of Founder from September 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they worked as a Partner at KPMG, where they focused on healthcare strategy and played a key role in developing and leading client engagements. John also served as a Principal at Deloitte's Monitor Deloitte Strategy, where they managed client development and account management. John was previously a Partner at Monitor Group Company for over fifteen years. In addition to their consulting experience, John has also worked as an Adjunct Professor and Instructor at Columbia University.

John Matthews received their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Columbia University in 1990. John then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Political Science from the same institution, graduating in 1997.
