Allison Yuan possesses extensive experience in application development and product science within the chemical industry, currently serving as a Senior Application Development Representative at Eastman Chemical Company since May 2013. Previously, Allison held positions such as Product Development Scientist at Ashland, where responsibilities included inventing new products for unsaturated polyester resins and optimizing resin transfer. At Wacker Chemie, Allison functioned as Product Development Manager, overseeing technology transfer and product development tailored to local customer demands. Allisonā€™s career began at the Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology as a researcher focused on oil-field chemicals and included a brief internship at Philips Research Laboratory, specializing in the characterization of semiconductive materials. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology, an MSc in Chemistry and Physics from Utrecht University, and a BSc in Chemistry from Nankai University.
