Kathleen McLeod was born and raised in Hawaii. After returning from college, Kathleen had the opportunity to work at a youth shelter which led her to get her Master’s in Social Work. Kathleen started her career as one of the first Intensive In-Home providers. During her time in this position, Kathleen was introduced to autism which ultimately led her down the path of getting her BCBA. She has over two decades of experience working with children, adolescents, and families who were a part of CAMHD, DOE, and insurance-funded services. Kathleen has served across many settings, including homes, schools, the community, clinics, residential, youth correctional centers, and hospitals.
Her favorite part of her job is working with her clients and their family and seeing how the skills they have learned over time have helped improve their lives. Kathleen also really enjoy working with their staff to help them develop their skills and share learnings from past experiences.
