Kevin Sikora is an expert on workplace safety and health. An ERG vice president, he has devoted his 30-year career to protecting the nation’s workforce. His work has spanned the full range of safety and health disciplines, from helping regulatory agencies develop workplace standards to inspecting workplaces for compliance with those standards. Kevin thoroughly understands the challenges of implementing federal occupational safety and health programs and is often called on to help develop the policies and programs that provide the framework for those programs. From his early days addressing explosives, radiation, and construction safety to his more recent work addressing health and safety concerns in diverse workplaces such as laboratories and auto refinish shops, Kevin hasn’t seen it all, but he’s seen a lot.
Kevin joined ERG in 1995 and leads several key efforts in ERG’s environmental and occupational health group. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland and is a certified industrial hygienist and certified safety professional.
