Martha Greene Eads has been a Professor of English at Eastern Mennonite University since August 2003. Prior to this role, Eads served as a Lilly Fellow in Humanities and the Arts at Valparaiso University from 2001 to 2003 and taught intensive summer literature courses at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women between 2000 and 2001. Additional experience includes positions such as Assistant Area Director in the Department of University Housing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1994 to 1999, Admissions Counselor at Appalachian State University from 1993 to 1994, Residence Hall Director at Salem College from 1992 to 1993, and Admissions Counselor at Wake Forest University from 1987 to 1989. Eads holds a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with an MA in English Language and Literature and an MA in Theology from Wake Forest University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Wake Forest University as well.
