Michele Filon currently serves as the Superintendent of Eastern Local School District, a position held since August 2011. Prior to this, Michele held various roles within Belpre City Schools, including High School Principal and Middle School Language Arts Teacher, from 1998 to 2011. Earlier experience includes teaching Grade 3 at Union Scioto Local Schools and Middle School Language Arts at Chillicothe City Schools during two separate tenures. Michele's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Education Administration and a Master's degree in the same field from Ohio University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, also from Ohio University.
