Jennifer Mares currently serves as a Deputy Fire Marshal for the State of Idaho since September 2023 and has previously held roles as a Workforce Consultant where responsibilities included interviewing clients to assess skills and providing guidance on resume writing and interview skills. Prior to this, Jennifer worked as a Campus Monitor at Bonneville School District 93, ensuring student safety and school security. Jennifer's career began with the City of Jerome as a Firefighter, where responsibilities included responding to emergencies and maintaining equipment readiness. Jennifer holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from the College of Southern Idaho, obtained in August 2021.
