Kim Williams has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Kim started their career at Austin Health as a Grade 2 Neurological Rehab In The Home Physiotherapist in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Physiotherapist at Ramsay Healthcare and a Grade 3 Senior Clinician Physiotherapist at Yarra Ranges Health. In 2012, they joined Eastern Health as a Grade 4 Site Operations Physiotherapist before being promoted to Physiotherapy Manager - Sub Acute Operations and then Director Physiotherapy/Assoc Program Director Specialty Medicine, Comm Rehab&Amb Specialist Clinics. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Allied Health/Deputy Chief Allied Health Officer at Eastern Health.
Kim Williams holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, which was obtained from 2000 to 2003. In 2010, Kim completed a Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation from The University of Western Australia. In 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Diploma of Management at Box Hill Institute. In 2019, Kim obtained a Professional Certificate in Health Systems Management from the University of Melbourne. Additionally, Kim has certifications as an Associate Fellow from the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and as a Board Registered Physiotherapist from AHPRA. They are also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) with the designation of MAPA.
