Juna Pierre has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at State Street. Juna then moved on to Yoh HR Solutions, where they served as a Senior Staffing Specialist from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, Juna joined BAE Systems, holding multiple roles including HR Representative II, HR Site Lead, and Senior HR Business Partner. In 2014, they became the Diversity Officer/ADA Coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. After that, Juna worked at Boston Public Schools as the Director of Compliance and Office of Equity & District Title IX Coordinator from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Raytheon Technologies as the Corporate Employee Relations and Compliance Lead before transitioning to their current role as a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner at Eastern Bank in 2019. Additionally, Juna worked as a Principal Consultant at Delino HR Consulting, providing HR support to school districts.
Juna Pierre has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources from Emmanuel College (Boston). Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Corporate Communication from Framingham State University. Juna also holds a high school diploma from Waltham Sr High School. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including The Partnership, Inc. Fellow Alum, Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
