Cathryn Dana

Senior Vice President at Eastern Bank

Cathryn Dana has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cathryn began their career in 1992 as an Audit Manager at KPMG, where they worked until 1999. In 2000, they joined Charles Schwab as a Team Leader and later moved on to Investors Bank & Trust as a Senior Manager in 2002.

Dana then joined State Street in 2004 as a Managing Director, where they worked until 2015. During their tenure at State Street, they held the role of Managing Director and was responsible for various responsibilities.

In 2015, they moved to State Street Global Advisors as a Managing Director of the SSGA Business Controls Office. In this role, they led a global team and was responsible for building a strong first line of defense. Cathryn oversaw regulatory and operational risk assurance reviews and implemented initiatives to improve the overall control environment.

Most recently, Dana joined Eastern Bank in 2018 as a Vice President. In this role, they supervise the internal audit department and manages multiple audits across various departments. Cathryn also developed and oversees the audit department's Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.

Throughout their career, Cathryn Dana has demonstrated their expertise in audit management, risk assurance, and control environment improvement.

Cathryn Dana earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University between 1988 and 1992.
