Simon Parkin has extensive experience in housing and benefits management, currently serving as a Case Worker in the Housing Needs & Standards team and as Operational Manager for the Benefits Service at Eastbourne Borough Council since April 2009. Prior to this role, Simon worked at Central Beds from 2000 to 2012, managing housing benefit and council tax benefit claims, as well as addressing council tenant rent queries. Simon's career includes positions as a Benefits Assessment Officer at Lewes District Council from February 2001 to July 2003 and at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council from January 2000 to 2001, focusing on the assessment of various income and tenure types. Simon holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from Mark Rutherford Upper School, where studies took place from 1984 to 1989.
