Robert Cottrill is an experienced professional in the public sector with a strong background in management and planning. Currently serving as Board Chair at Clear Futures and Chief Executive at both Lewes District Council and Eastbourne Borough Council since January 2016 and September 2009 respectively, Robert also holds directorship at CloudConnX and is a board member of the Eastbourne Education Business Partnership. Previous roles include Non Executive Director at Welbeing, Director of Planning and Development at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, and Head of Policy and Regeneration at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. Robert began a career in planning at Westminster City Council before progressing to Head of Policy and Projects at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Robert holds a PG Diploma in Town Planning from London South Bank University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of Worcester.
