James Murray is an experienced City Council Member and Councillor at Eastbourne Borough Council since May 2010, where James serves as the Cabinet Lead on sustainability, collaborating with Ecoaction2030 to achieve carbon neutrality in Eastbourne by 2030. Key objectives include increasing participation in active travel and community transport over the next four years. Murray has held various roles on multiple committees, including annual council meetings, licensing, planning, and community engagement initiatives.
