Jane Shingler is an experienced educator currently serving as an English/Language Arts teacher at East Penn School District since August 2006, where responsibilities include teaching 8th grade language arts, leading a team, and advising the Builders Club. Prior to this role, Jane Shingler was an Assistant Professor at Lehigh Valley College from 2001 to 2005, focusing on English courses and student advising. Academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education/English from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the same institution. Additionally, Jane Shingler pursued further education at Penn State University, earning six graduate credits and Fellow status with the National Institute of Writing Project, as well as participating in a summer study abroad program at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
