Sinovuyo Cuba is a microbiologist with extensive experience in laboratory settings, currently leading the micro lab at East London IDZ since April 2022. In this role, Sinovuyo ensures timely analysis of client samples and facilitates knowledge transfer through coaching of interns and junior professionals. Prior experience at The South African Breweries as a Senior Laboratory Technician involved conducting specialized analyses and reviewing quality procedures. Earlier roles at East London IDZ included serving as a Microbiology Junior Professional and Intern, focusing on sample data management and laboratory equipment verification. Sinovuyo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Microbiology and Biotechnology, both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
