Emil Hristov has a varied work experience. From March 2023 to the present, they are functioning as the COO for East, an organization that connects Nordic companies with IT talent from the Balkans. From March 2022 to March 2023, they served as a Partner Manager for the same company.

Before working at East, Emil had roles at DeltaServices Ltd. From March 2021 to August 2021, they held the position of Customer Service Team Lead/ Office Administrator. Prior to that, from March 2020 to March 2021, Emil worked as a Customer Support Specialist- Swedish and Office Manager.

During their time at East, Emil's responsibilities included establishing an ATS process, improving and automating CRM, being the first point of contact for inquiries and business needs, as well as assisting clients and vendors.

Emil Hristov completed their high school education at Second English Language School "Thomas Jefferson" from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on English Language and Literature, General. Emil then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Scandinavian Studies at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Emil also completed a one-year course in Swedish Language and Literature, titled "Svenska som främmande språk, behörighetsgivande kurs," at Linnaeus University from 2019 to 2020.
