Marina Cofield is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in executive roles, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of East Harlem Tutorial Program since February 2024. Previously, Marina held the position of Chief Operating Officer at ExpandED Schools from August 2019 to January 2024 and served in various capacities at the NYC Department of Education from 2008 to 2019, including Senior Executive Director and Network Leader, where important operational and instructional support was provided to numerous public schools. Addressing school development, Marina has also contributed as Founding Principal at KIPP South Fulton Academy and as a judicial law clerk. Marina completed a Doctor of Law degree at Harvard Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History & Literature from Harvard University, complemented by a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.
