Tom Hanrahan is an experienced Senior Design Manager currently at Laing O'Rourke since January 2023, with a strong background in civil engineering and project management. With notable previous roles including Design Manager at SCS Railways for HS2 and at Costain Group PLC for the Crossrail project, Tom has demonstrated expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects. In addition to engineering, Tom has served as a District Councillor for East Hampshire District Council and is the Chairman of the Farnham and Bordon Conservatives. As a retained firefighter with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, Tom holds various emergency response qualifications, further showcasing versatility and commitment to community service. Tom earned a BEng in Civil Engineering from Cranfield University and has a military background with the British Army.
