Marissa Pernice is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher for the East Greenwich School Department since September 2020. Prior to this role, Marissa worked as an Inclusive Classroom Teacher for 3rd Grade with the NYC Department of Education from September 2013 to August 2020, and as a Third Grade Teacher in the East Providence School District from September 2011 to August 2013. Marissa holds a Master of Arts in Literacy Specialist from Teachers College, Columbia University, obtained from 2014 to 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary & Special Education from Providence College, earned in 2011.
