Mizanur Rahman is the current Executive Director of Corporate Planning at East Coast Group of Companies. Mizanur has previous experience as a Managing Director at Jamuna Oil Company Limited and Director of Marketing at Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation.

Rahman has been in the oil and gas industry for over 10 years. Mizanur started their career as a marketing director at Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation in 2007. From there, they became the managing director of Jamuna Oil Company Limited in 2008.

As managing director, Rahman was responsible for all operational, marketing, audited and financial activities of the company. This included down stream operations of liquid petroleum products, marketing of petroleum products, designing products, pricing strategies, placing products, communication and promotion strategies, and implementing and organizing market programs.

In their current role as Executive Director of Corporate Planning at East Coast Group of Companies, Rahman is responsible for leading the strategic planning process for the organization and developing long-term plans to achieve the company’s objectives. Mizanur also oversees the implementation of corporate policies and procedures, and monitors the performance of the various business units within the company.

Mizanur Rahman graduated from Dhaka University with a BA(Hons) in Political Science and Government. Mizanur then earned an MA in the same field from the same school.
