Elizabeth Southwick has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Elizabeth started their career in 2002 as a Research Technician at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and worked there until 2006. In 2007, they became a Registered Nurse at the same medical center, specializing in telemetry med/surg floor and cardiac progressive care unit, focusing on cardiovascular patients. Elizabeth worked in this role until 2012. In 2012, Elizabeth joined East Boston Neighborhood Health Center as a Registered Nurse and later took on various roles including Clinical Training Analyst, Clinical Resource Nurse, Manager of Nursing Operations, and currently serves as the Director of Nursing since October 2019.
Elizabeth Southwick attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Elizabeth then went on to Laboure College from 2005 to 2007 and earned an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Finally, they completed their education at UMass Boston from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
