Chris Solis has extensive work experience in the medical field. Chris began their career as a Science Teacher at the Oakland Public School District from 1996 to 1999. Chris then worked as a Surgical Resident at San Joaquin General Hospital from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they were a General Surgeon at Kaiser Permanente from 2008 to 2012. Chris then joined Sutter Delta Medical Center as an Acute Care and General Surgeon in December 2012. At Sutter Delta Medical Center, they also served as the NSQIP Surgeon Champion and the Chair of the Department of Surgery from January 2017 and January 2016 respectively. In 2013, they became a Trauma Surgeon at San Joaquin General Hospital. Additionally, they served as a Trauma and General Surgeon at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital from July 2016. Finally, they worked at the East Bay Regional Park District as a Flight Surgeon and the Medical Director of the Flight Medic Program since 2014.
Chris Solis began their education journey in 1991 at the University of California, Davis. Chris studied Physiology, General and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at Michigan State University from 1999 to 2003, focusing on the field of Medicine.
