Fiona Sutton Wilson is the current CEO of Earthwatch Institute Australia. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Development Officer for the organization from February 2019 to February 2020. Before their time at Earthwatch Institute, Fiona was employed at Swinburne University of Technology from February 2016 to February 2019 as the Manager of Advancement. In this role, they worked on the university's strategic priorities and development efforts for the Faculty of Health, Arts and Design.

Fiona is a passionate advocate for the environment and has dedicated their career to empower people to save the natural world. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from Swinburne University of Technology.

Fiona Sutton Wilson has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours 1 in Ancient Theirtory and English Literature from The University of Queensland. Fiona also has a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from University of Southern Queensland and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from Swinburne University of Technology. In addition, Fiona has a certification from The Climate Reality Project as a Climate Reality Leader.
