Yosei Ikeda has a long history of work experience beginning with a summer internship in 2008 at Kustom Kar Audio as an Intern/Fabricator. In 2009, they worked as a Photographer/Image Editor at Ikeda Photo. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Dash Cycles as a Composites & Design Engineer, where they designed and manufactured carbon fiber cycling components as well as developed methods for streamlining the manufacturing process. Yosei also did graphics design, product images, and conceptual artwork for the website. In 2015, they moved to Ethic LLC as a Product Designer, where they did product design and prototyping, both on the computer and in the workshop. In 2019, they took a role at Schacht Spindle Company as a Technical Production Department Supervisor. Finally, in 2022, they began working at EOI Space as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer.

Yosei Ikeda attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
