Dan Rupp is a seasoned Meteorologist with extensive experience in weather forecasting and communication. Currently employed at Earth Networks since December 2019, Dan previously worked at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as both WJET and KSAN Meteorologist from March 2016 to November 2019. Dan's career includes a role at Cirrus Weather Services, LLC, where weather forecasts were updated for snow plow companies and alerts for inclement winter weather were provided. Dan began as a Data Analyst/Forecasting Intern at Good Anchorage, focusing on marine forecasting, and gained practical experience as a Weather Communications Intern at WJET-TV. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a focus on Weather Forecasting and Communication from Penn State University, completed in 2015.
