Howard Wan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Howard started their career as a Technical Support at San Jose State University in 2008, where they managed installations, upgrades, and deployments for Mac-based networks. Howard also facilitated the deployment and imaging of Mac desktops and configured existing networks for data transfers and imaging services.

In 2008, Howard also worked as a Technical Support at AverMedia, Inc., where they were responsible for addressing technical questions from customers and facilitating repairs and maintenance of desktop stations.

From 2010 to 2011, Howard worked as a Desktop Support Specialist at LTX-Credence, providing excellent customer service to over 300 users and managing workstation and laptop upgrades. Howard also troubleshooted network connectivity, network printing, and user access issues.

In their role as a Desktop Administrator at TechTarget from 2011 to 2013, Howard improved performance and reliability of multiple systems, configured and deployed various platforms, and maintained and audited users and group policy objects in Active Directory.

From 2013 to 2017, Howard worked as an IT Network Systems Administrator at Consensus Corporation, where they handled network system administration tasks.

Howard then joined Oracle in 2017 as a Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer, a role they held until 2019. At Oracle, they focused on infrastructure systems engineering tasks.

Currently, Howard is employed at Earnest LLC as an IT Operations Engineer Lead, a position they have held since October 2019.

Howard Wan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University, graduating in 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Casper Technician from JAMF Software in January 2016, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate from Microsoft in April 2012, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) from Microsoft in August 2011, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) from Microsoft in July 2011, Okta Certified Professional from Okta in October 2021, and BetterCloud Certified Administrator from BetterCloud in March 2021.
