Mark Shields is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, consultancy, and project management. As the Co-Founder of Roda since July 2022, Mark is involved in developing a software platform aimed at enhancing business strategy and team alignment. Building on a strong foundation in social impact, Mark founded Simpact CIC in September 2014, focusing on providing support services for disadvantaged young people while reinvesting consultancy profits. Mark has served on the advisory boards of Earlybird and CareerEar, enhancing employability and access to career information. Previous leadership roles include Director of Operations at Capita, Head of Project & Programme Management at Avanta Enterprise, and Programme Manager for A4e India. Mark holds an MSc in State, Society & Development from SOAS University of London and a BA in Politics & Philosophy from The University of Sheffield.
