Irene Watts is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and community leadership. Currently, Irene serves as the Executive Board Secretary and Executive Board Member for the Early Childhood Investment Corporation, appointed by Governor Whitmer. Irene also holds the position of Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Community College Association and has been a College Board Trustee at Henry Ford College and a School Board Trustee for Dearborn Public Schools since January 2021. Additionally, Irene is a founding Executive Director of All Things Michigan Party, focusing on promoting Michigan-made products and culture. Irene has also held positions such as Development Director for The Arc of Northwest Wayne County and Assistant Director at Play and Learn Children's Place. As a former Preschool Teacher at the same institution, Irene possesses a strong educational background with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from the University of Michigan.
