Scott Long is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in research and development across various organizations. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Confluence Discovery Technologies since July 2021 and Senior Scientist at EAG Laboratories since 2018, Scott has a strong background in synthesizing and developing novel surfactants for animal nutrition. Previous roles include Senior Research Chemist at Novus, where three prototypes were prepared for commercial evaluation, and Senior Scientist at Pfizer and Monsanto, focusing on pharmaceuticals and enterprise-level software solutions. Scott's educational background includes a Master’s in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
