Eric Burns has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric started their career in 2006 at Clyde's Restaurant Group, where they worked as a Top Gun Busser and Front Waiter. In these roles, they maintained the restaurant's standards, ensured customer satisfaction, and trained new bus staff. From 2015 to 2015, they worked at AccessAgility as a Network Technician, where they received training in installing and servicing network hardware, troubleshooting devices, and coordinating network repair operations. Since 2016, Eric has been working at E2 Optics. Eric initially served as a Lead Field Technician, responsible for installing and repairing data center network deployments. Currently, they hold the position of Project Coordinator and Estimator, demonstrating their growth within the company.

Eric Burns obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science from Northern Virginia Community College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including OSHA 30 Hour from OSHA Courses in August 2017, CommScope Enterprise Fiber Solutions [SP4400], CommScope OSP Fiber Design and Engineering [SP4410], SYSTIMAX Design and Engineering [SP3321], Hyperscale/Cloud Data Center Product & Installation Training [SP8910], Installing Premises Cabling Systems ACT I [SP3801], Introduction to Hyperscale/Cloud Data Centers [SP8900] from CommScope in November 2018, and CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in January 2016.
