Sam Harris is an experienced communications professional, currently serving as Communications Manager for the City of Wolverhampton Council since July 2022. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Head of Communications and Engagement at the Staffordshire Commissioner for Police, Fire and Rescue and Crime from February 2017 to January 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Press Officer at Highways England and The Met Police in London, as well as positions as Senior Account Director at Wright Communication and Senior Press Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions. Earlier career stages included roles as Press Officer at WAGN Railway and Telford & Wrekin Council, along with reporter positions at the Daily Mail and News of the World. Sam Harris has a foundational education from The Priory School.
