Dirk Steyn has an extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Dirk has served as the Director of Engineering at E-ONE since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Program Management at Reading Truck from 2021 to 2023. Dirk also worked as a Management Consultant at TRDM Consulting from 2021 to 2022.

In addition, Dirk has held leadership positions at Autocar Trucks, REV Group Inc, E-One, Navistar Inc, Workhorse Custom Chassis, and Gerotek. Dirk has led teams, managed technical compliance, directed strategic planning activities, implemented processes, and developed resources. Dirk has built and supported a wide range of complex products, including fire trucks, military vehicles, and hybrid electric trucks. Dirk'sexperience spans across multiple industries and they have worked with international teams in various locations.

Dirk Steyn attended the University of Pretoria from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
