Dimitrios Doultsinos

CMO at e-NIOS

Dimitrios Doultsinos has a range of work experience in various research and medical roles. Dimitrios is currently a Prostate Oncology Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, where they have been since November 2019. Additionally, they are a Research Associate in Cellular and Molecular Physiology/Wellcome Centre Human Genetics, with a focus on COVID-19, starting in February 2021.

In March 2021, Dimitrios became an Honorary Research Associate at Imperial College London. Prior to that, they served as the CMO at e-NIOS since June 2019. Dimitrios worked as an ITN Marie Curie Research Fellow at INSERM from March 2016 to October 2019.

Dimitrios has also had experience as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Gothenburg, where they focused on skill acquisition in medicinal chemistry and computational chemical and medical modelling. Dimitrios designed novel pharmacological modulators for treating Glioblastoma Multiform, a neurological malignancy.

Earlier in their career, Dimitrios worked as a Clinical Researcher in Neurogenetics at Imperial College London from October 2014 to February 2016. Dimitrios started their medical sciences journey at the University of Birmingham from 2011 to 2014 and began as a Student Doctor at the University of Sheffield in 2006, where they stayed until 2011.

Dimitrios Doultsinos completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2003 to 2005, they attended Abingdon School, where they obtained their A Levels in Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Following this, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued their MBChB degree in Medical Studies at The University of Sheffield. Afterwards, from 2011 to 2014, they attended the University of Birmingham, where they earned a BMedSci degree in Medical Sciences with a focus on Biomedical Sciences. In 2014 to 2015, Dimitrios pursued an MRes degree in Clinical Research Translational Medicine at Imperial College London. Lastly, from 2016 to 2019, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Université de Rennes I.
