Christoph Maier is currently a Thesis Student at MTU Aero Engines, focusing on a research project in Additive Manufacturing, since April 2024. Prior experience includes a position as a Working Student in Product Management at EOS, where responsibilities involved revising machine documentation and conducting market analysis for 3D printing systems. Christoph served as a Student Assistant at the Chair of Laser-based Additive Manufacturing at Technische Universität München, contributing to the design and development of a topology optimized demonstrator part, and also tutored a course in machine drawing and computer-aided design at the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics. Additional experience includes an internship in Production Planning at BMW Group, where tools for process data analysis were developed, and an engineering internship at CIM med GmbH. Christoph is pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, having completed a Bachelor of Science in the same field there and participated in a program at Sogang University.
