Michael Root has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of program management, business partnership, event coordination, client executive roles, and consultancy. Michael is currently serving as the Program Manager at e&e IT Consulting Services, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Partner at Back 2 Roots Back Office, where they provided project management, IT consulting, and management consulting services. Michael also served as the County Event Co-Leader at Relay for Life - Lebanon County PA, where they organized fundraising events to support cancer research. In the past, Michael worked as a Client Executive at Unisys and as the Director of the Bureau of Administrative and Program Services at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, overseeing multi-million dollar IT projects. Michael also worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at e&e IT Consulting Services, Inc. and managed the Telecommunications Transition Project for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Michael has experience as the owner/principal of their own consulting firm, Michael Root Consulting, where they provided telecommunications interconnect functions for commercial clients. Michael has also held managerial roles at Level 3 Communications and Rite Aid, where they managed voice and video communications networks.

Michael Root attended Capella University from 2004 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Leadership. In addition to their degree, Michael Root also obtained two certifications, including ITIL Continual Service Improvement from EXIN in June 2013, and ITIL V3 Foundation from EXIN in August 2012.
