Andrew Wingerter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and approvals within industry-leading organizations. Currently serving as Sr Principal Compliance and Approvals at Dyson since December 2017, Andrew advises executive and legal teams on regulatory interpretations and leads strategic engagement with regulators and trade associations. Previously, in various roles at Dyson, including Compliance and Approvals Principal Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer for the Americas Region, Andrew built and managed global teams to facilitate product compliance and influence market innovations. Prior positions at UL and Intertek involved significant account management, strategic compliance, and consulting efforts across major retail accounts such as Walmart and Home Depot. Andrew's career began at Honda of America Mfg., Inc., where expert testing ensured product compliance with customer expectations and regulations. Holding an MS in Product Design and Development from Northwestern University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, Andrew possesses a strong technical and strategic background.
