Eric Carlson has three years of work experience. From 2020 to present, they have been a Senior Shopify Web Developer and Shopify Developer at DYODE. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Full Stack Developer at Brandable. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Apprentice at Thinkful, where they gained technical experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Redux, jQuery, Node.js, Express, Mongo, and Git. Eric also gained experience with industry best practices and agile project management. During their apprenticeship, they worked on a project called Gift List, an online gift idea database.

Eric Carlson attended Ithaca College from 2007 to 2011, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. In 2018, they enrolled in Thinkful to pursue a Full Stack Web Development course.
