Prashant Bansal has extensive work experience in the fields of translational research, translational sciences, and medical imaging. Prashant most recently worked as the Senior Director of Translational Research at Dyne Therapeutics. Prior to that, they held roles such as Senior Director of Translational Sciences and Translational Medicine Lead at Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. Prashant also worked at Biogen as an Associate Director of Development Imaging and at PAREXEL as the Director of Scientific and Medical Services and Head of Technology and Innovation. Prashant Bansal's earlier experience includes roles at Pfizer, Boston University and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Penn State University, and TAL Biomedical Engineering Solutions.

Prashant Bansal began their education in 1999 at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering. From 2002 to 2004, Bansal attended Penn State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Bioengineering. Subsequently, they enrolled at Boston University in 2005, and after a five-year period of study, Bansal completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2010.
