Vaikkunth Mugunthan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Vaikkunth is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of DynamoFL, a position they started in December 2021. Previously, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from August 2017 to April 2022. During their time at MIT, they also served as a Technical Mentor for Global Startup Labs. In 2021, they worked as a Microprediction Intern - Research Scientist at Intech. Vaikkunth co-founded Maiden AI as a Co-Founder for Fulltr in October 2020. Before that, they were a Summer Associate - Data Science and Machine Learning Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2019. Vaikkunth also had a software engineering internship at Microsoft in 2017. In 2016, they were a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). Their earliest work experience was as a Project Trainee - Analytics at IBM in 2015, where they worked on projects related to streaming and analyzing call data records and sentiment analysis on live Twitter feeds.

Vaikkunth Mugunthan's education history began in 2004 at Vel's Vidyashram, where they completed their primary and middle school education. In 2011, they moved on to Chennai Public Schol for high school.

After completing high school, Vaikkunth attended Anna University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.

They then enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2017 and pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2019. During their time at MIT, from 2019 to 2020, Vaikkunth also attended Harvard University and earned a PhD Minor in Privacy, Fairness, and Law.

Continuing their academic journey, Vaikkunth stayed at MIT and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

Aside from their formal education, Vaikkunth obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker certification in July 2015 from EC-Council.
