Joan Van der Veen CPA, CMA has over 13 years of work experience. Joan Van der Veen began their career in 2007 as an Accountant (Contract) at Parkland County. From 2008 to 2010, they held the role of Manager, Financial Reporting at Bucyrus Canada Ltd. Joan Van der Veen then returned to Parkland County in 2010, where they held the roles of Acting Manager, Financial Services and Acting Supervisor, Financial Reporting. In 2011, they joined ENTREC Corporation, where they held the roles of Manager, Corporate Accounting and Corporate Controller. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Contract Controller for Fast Track Group and The Organic Box. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Controller at CompuVision Systems. In 2021, they joined Freedom Cannabis as a Controller. Currently, they are a Controller at Dynaleo Inc.

Joan Van der Veen CPA, CMA has studied Accounting and Finance at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
