Paul Manning has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Paul began their career as an underwriter at Admiral Insurance in 1995 and later worked at Prudential Assurance as an underwriter/team leader until 2003. Paul then transitioned to Halifax, where they worked as a project manager/business analyst and later became a credit card operations team manager. In 2007, they joined Lloyds Banking Group, where they held various roles such as IT practice pool line manager, project manager (people and capability), and resourcing and PMO manager. In 2017, they started their own company, Pragmanning Solutions Ltd, as a director and primary consultant specializing in project management and PMO. Paul also worked at Barclays Partner Finance as a scrum master and agile IT PM/PMO (hybrid role). In 2018, they joined Legal & General as an agile portfolio manager. Currently, they are employed at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, where they hold the positions of scrum master and delivery lead.
Paul Manning completed their Bachelor's degree in Language and Communication at the University of Wales from 1992 to 1995. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Professional Scrum Masterâ„¢ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in January 2020, Education and Training Level 3 from BTEC in February 2017, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in March 2020.
