Alvaro Chalar is a seasoned software engineer currently working at DVELP, part of the Sabio Group, where the focus is on building real-time communication solutions for heavily regulated industries in partnership with Twilio, Google Cloud Platform, and Looker. From November 2013 to July 2018, Alvaro served as a Playback Engineer at Wuaki.tv, ensuring optimal media quality and managing video processing and cloud storage. Prior experience includes development work at Medialab Barcelona and educational roles at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where Alvaro was a PhD candidate and teaching assistant. Additional roles included web design, system support, and technical assistance across several organizations. Alvaro holds multiple advanced degrees in Multimedia Design and High Performance Computing from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, along with a certificate in Network Engineering and a Systems Engineering degree from Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo."
