They developed and managed data warehouse pipelines that fed reports for the Board of Directors, Executives, and various departments, and managed data integration between different systems used by the bank.
Furthermore, Christian worked at Faithlife as a Jr. Data Analyst - Marketing, e-Commerce, & Product from August 2017 to May 2019. Here, they analyzed and reported on web traffic, digital marketing, and product telemetry data. They also developed a multi-touch marketing attribution model using Python, SQL, and Google Analytics REST API.
Christian's earlier experience includes working at Whatcom County as an Applications & Database Administrator from April 2015 to August 2017, and as an Information Technology Intern from June 2014 to September 2014. In these roles, they administered business applications and databases, managed multiple applications and SQL Server databases, and assisted with IT projects and operational work.
Christian's first professional role was as a Help Desk Computer Assistant at Western Washington University from September 2012 to March 2015, where they provided computer assistance to students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
Christian K. began their education at Whatcom Community College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree. They then attended Western Washington University from 2012 to 2015 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems.
In terms of additional certifications, Christian obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in February 2019. Christian also pursued several certifications from Microsoft, including the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in January 2016, Exam 461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 in January 2016, Exam 462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases in August 2016, MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 - Certified 2017 in August 2017, and Exam 463: Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 in August 2017. Additionally, Christian obtained certifications from Coursera, including Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms in February 2021, Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures in March 2021, and Greedy Algorithms, Minimum Spanning Trees, and Dynamic Programming in April 2021. Most recently, Christian completed the Java Programming I and Java Programming II courses from the University of Helsinki in November 2020 and January 2021, respectively.
In 2021, Christian enrolled in an online course at the Big Data Institute to pursue a certificate in Big Data Engineering. As of October 2022, Christian is still engaged in this online course.
