Valérie Friesen is a versatile artist with extensive experience in both performance and education in the fields of opera and clowning. Currently serving as a Contactclown at Clown Fladderie, Valérie engages audiences through heartfelt interactions. As a freelance alt/mezzo-soprano and vocal coach, Valérie is active in the opera scene, performing with prestigious companies such as the Nationale Opera & Ballet and the Salzburg Festival, collaborating with renowned conductors like Sir Simon Rattle and Riccardo Muti. Valérie's educational background includes degrees from the Koninklijk Conservatorium and the Dutch National Opera Academy, complemented by training as an innovative trainer and clown. With a career spanning over two decades, Valérie continues to impact the realms of music and performance art.
